At Talenscio, we take your personal data seriously. This policy outlines:

We collect any information that is required in order to send you the behavioural testing or to set up a corporate account the send out testing (such as name and email address), that you divulge during the behaviour testing and any contextual information that we may need (e.g. the company you work for). If you provide us with any sensitive data, e.g. regarding health, we will only process this with your permission.
The different sources we may collect data about you includes:
• From you – this is normally directly provided by you.
• From a third party – this could be information provided by current or future employers, or any other third party who is using our testing such as recruitment companies or job boards.
How and why we use your personal data?
We could use your personal data for a number of reasons. As someone setting up a corporate account, we will need to communicate with you regarding the account, any completed tests, etc. As someone filling out a profile, we will use your data to send you the testing and the final profile will be sent to the relevant party e.g. you, a potential employer, a recruitment company, etc.
We keep your information in accordance as follows:
Candidate/delegate data: 6 years from the last contact.
Client contact details: 6 years from either the last use of our services/the last contact (whichever is the most recent).
As someone filling out a profile, your personal data may be shared with you, a current/potential employer, a recruiter or any other 3rd party who has instructed us.
If we send testing or information to a 3rd party, this data will then be processed in accordance with the 3rd party’s privacy policy.
What legal basis do we have for using your information?
For people filling out a profile or as a contact for a corporate account, we are required to process data in order to provide our services to you.
What happens if you do not provide us with the information we request or ask that we stop processing your information?
If the required data isn’t provided or you withdraw your consent, we may be unable to fulfil projects for both clients of Talenscio, and those completing the testing.

We may share your information with current/future employers, recruiters, etc. who are outside the EEA, but this is only likely to happen with your knowledge or consent.
By law, you have a number of rights when it comes to your personal data. Further information and advice about your rights can be obtained from the data protection regulator in your country.
The right to be informed – You have the right to be provided with clear, transparent and easily understandable information about how we use your information and your rights. This is why we’re providing you with the information in this policy.
The right of access – You have the right to obtain access to your information (if we’re processing it), and certain other information (similar to that provided in this Privacy Policy). This is so you’re aware and can check that we’re using your information in accordance with data protection law.
The right to rectification – You are entitled to have your information corrected if it’s inaccurate or incomplete.

For example, if you decide to switch to a new provider, this enables you to move, copy or transfer your information easily between our IT systems and theirs safely and securely, without affecting its usability.

The right to lodge a complaint – You have the right to lodge a complaint about the way we handle or process your personal data with your national data protection regulator.

We usually act on requests and provide information free of charge, but we may charge a reasonable fee to cover the administrative costs of providing the information for:
• baseless or excessive/repeated requests, or
• further copies of the same information
Alternatively, we may be entitled to refuse to act on the request.
